maybe i walk by your class and wait for a minute or two, staring at the clock, daring it to ring so you'll see me
maybe i wait after school in the lobby for a little while, hoping you'd show up, but knowing you won't
maybe i miss being late to sixth period and showing up late to my bus
but you know what? these are all maybes, so it doesn't mean anything, right? yeah, that's what i thought, too.
